FDA Update on Listeria Outbreak in Enoki Mushrooms
Consumers should not eat and should check their refrigerators and throw away any recalled enoki mushrooms from Sun Hong Foods, Inc., Guan’s Mushroom Co., and H&C Food, Inc. because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Retailers should not sell them. More information here.

FSIS Notice on BSE Sampling
FSIS has updated directive 10,400. The directive has been revised to provide updated instructions on collecting samples only from cattle that are 12 months of age or older that display signs (e.g., head pressing, circling) of a central nervous system (CNS) disorder.
