APHIS Proposes Allow New Biological Control for Olive Psyllid
APHIS is announcing a finding of no significant impact (FONSI) regarding the field release of the insect, P. euphyllurae, for biological control of olive psyllid in the contiguous United States. Based on this finding, APHIS has issued a permit for the release of P. euphyllurae for the biological control of olive psyllid in the contiguous United States.
FDA CORE Outbreak Investigation Status Update
This week’s updates are:
- A new outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 in raw cheddar cheese (ref # 1215) has been added to the table. A recall was initiated and an outbreak advisory was issued.
- For the outbreak of Listeria monocytogenes linked to Cotija and Queso Fresco cheese (ref # 1214), the outbreak advisory has been updated to include a list of retailers that may have received recalled products.
